Hays Oxford has been engaged by a leading firm based in Witney to support with the latest hire into the team, a finance manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly accounts and investor reports.
  • Manage annual audits and tax statements.
  • Engage in investment appraisals and valuations.
  • Direct Managed Accounts
  • Handle statutory and quarterly reporting for large accounts.
  • Provide quarterly accounts, manage banking, and VAT
  • Control bank payments and budget.
  • Oversee audits, tax programs, and timber harvesting processes.
  • Assist with Head Office finance activities.

Skills & Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • 2+ years PQE in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of statutory accounting, VAT, and tax
  • Strong numerical and IT skills (Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
  • Effective communicator with confidence in dealing with senior people
