Leading travel company - Global Consolidation Manager in London - c.£70,000 - £80,000

Your new company

A leading travel company which is a globally-loved name is beginning the search for a new Intercompany/Global Consolidation Manager. They are preparing for rapid growth, change and team building. Driven by a dependent and loyal customer market, and preparing to maximise on market opportunity in the coming months and years, the finance team is robust, focused and lean, leading to intended future progression for this role.

Your new role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this senior role under the proposed new structure will evolve from primarily a consolidation ‘preparer’ role to a more senior ‘reviewer’ role. You’ll be providing overall technical accounting leadership and also providing regular and timely financial information to the business, building and developing a strong strategic partnership between the finance function and the wider global business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have a practice background and be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant. It will be particularly valuable to have worked in the Group audit team of FTSE100 / FTSE 250 companies, be familiar with US GAAP, and have dealt with complex multi-currency consolidations with a very good handle on group finance. You will need to be a confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

What you'll get in return

A competitive salary is on offer with great opportunities for liaising with senior stakeholders, market partners and the senior leadership team. Within a few years there will be ample internal progression opportunity, both to progress globally and in terms of nature and scope of role in the future. In the meantime, you will enjoy taking ownership of your responsibilities and be given scope to work independently as well as collaborate across the business.
