Your new role
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to develop and implement people policies, collective employee relations, and reward agendas. You will lead the delivery of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) agenda, manage a portfolio of HR projects, and contribute to the leadership of the HR function.
Key responsibilities include coaching and supporting managers, creating and delivering training, and ensuring policies align with technological advancements. You will also play a crucial role in horizon-scanning for developments in employment law and HR practices, and help advance the organisational development strategy.
The ideal candidate will be degree-educated and CIPD Level 7 qualified or have equivalent experience. You should have demonstrable generalist HR experience in a complex organisation and be knowledgeable in HR principles and practices, employment legislation, and EDI.
Your experience will include developing and implementing effective HR policies and procedures, delivering impactful training and development programs, managing employee relations and change management, and overseeing projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to produce high-quality documentation and presentations, strong data analysis skills, and impeccable attention to detail will help you thrive.

The benefits package includes a generous pension (24.4% employer contribution), 39 days of annual leave (including Christmas closure and bank holidays). This position is a 0.8 FTE (full-time equivalent) contract with flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
