Your new role

In this dynamic role, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency.
As a Housing Assistant focusing on rent arrears and re-lets. This is an initial 4-week contract.

Key Responsibilities
Monitoring rent accounts to identify arrears and initiating prompt collection efforts.
Communicating effectively with tenants to negotiate repayment plans and provide financial advice.
Liaising with welfare advisors to support tenants in claiming benefits they are entitled to.
Preparing and serving legal notices for rent arrears in accordance with housing legislation.
Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure properties are ready for re-letting.
Conducting viewings and sign-ups for new tenants, explaining lease terms and conditions.
Maintaining accurate records of all rent transactions and correspondence with tenants.
Providing excellent customer service, acting as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries.
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve housing management objectives.
