HR Administrator | Temporary 3–6 months | Belfast - hybrid

Your new company

Hays are working with a non-departmental body to appoint an HR Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.


Your new role

As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Administrative tasks associated with the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, employee background checks and liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Provide administrative support for learning and development activities
  • Support with administrative tasks related to the organisation's attendance management process
  • Health & safety administration
  • Carry out general administrative tasks for the HR department, e.g. phone calls, drafting standardised documents, managing the HR inbox


What you'll need to succeed

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, which must include English Language and Mathematics

  • At least two years’ relevant experience in an administrative role, including one year’s experience in a similar HR role

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information

    Desirable Criteria:

  • CIPD member

  • HR-related qualification

  • Experience of using computerised HR systems, e.g. PAMS

  • Knowledge of HR best practice
