Your new role
Join their dynamic Technology Infrastructure and Operations team, dedicated to enhancing the operational excellence of their platforms, services, and systems. Key Responsibilities
Framework Management: Design and administer the framework for managing user identities, accounts, job profiles, and access privileges via the I&AM systems. Ensure all stakeholders understand and manage the framework effectively.
Adoption Monitoring: Oversee the adoption of the I&AM framework across business areas and systems, managing a continuous improvement plan with a risk-based prioritisation approach.
JML Processes: Ensure Joiners, Movers & Leavers (JML) processes are robustly designed and consistently followed, working with HR and other key stakeholders to provision, de-provision, and recertify rights as required.
Approval Flows: Manage automated approval flows for all access requests, ensuring effective enforcement and appropriate approval workflows.
Recertification: Execute the periodic recertification process, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and operating robust controls to revoke any unnecessary access.
System Administration: Collaborate with IT and IS teams to maintain and enhance I&AM systems and toolsets.
Process Improvement: Develop and continuously improve I&AM related processes and procedures, implementing best practices and ensuring efficiency. Work with key stakeholders to automate and improve I&AM activities using industry trends and best practices.
Training and Guidance: Provide training, knowledge articles, and guidance to fulfilment teams, educating them on I&AM protocols, procedures, and controls.
Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot I&AM issues promptly and effectively.
Security Alignment: Work with Identity Security Architects and other stakeholders to understand and apply security requirements for I&AM processes.
Project Participation: Offer expertise and insights on I&AM to various projects and initiatives.
Compliance: Enforce all company procedures, standards, and best practices relating to I&AM, providing appropriate management and governance reporting.
Key Projects and UndertakingsLifecycle Management: Own and operate the Identity and Access Management lifecycle, including provisioning, control reviews, and recertifications. Ensure processes are appropriate through management reporting and oversight controls.
Compliance Validation: Regularly validate and certify I&AM practices to ensure compliance and security.
Project Support: Provide support and expertise for projects related to I&AM.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and improve the performance of fulfilment teams regarding I&AM tasks.
Framework Development: Continuously develop and improve the I&AM framework to leverage accurate job profiles, automation, efficiencies, and best practices, aligning with the latest regulatory and industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in developing, improving, and fulfilling I&AM processes, with a strong understanding of the risks and impacts associated with poor I&AM practices.
- Excellent understanding of IT Security and Service Management best practices and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to analyse processes, identify key control requirements, and design processes to ensure controls operate effectively.
- Experience using industry-standard Identity Management and Governance tools (e.g., Microsoft AD, Entra, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
