In-House Maritime Lawyer

Your new company

This global transport and logistics company is recognised as a leader in sea freight, air freight, contract logistics, and road transport. They leverage innovative solutions and advanced technology to deliver efficient and reliable services. As a key player in the industry, they are currently seeking to expand their legal team.

Your new role

You will be serving a fixed-term contract until August, specialising in maritime and sea logistics. You will be providing commercial expertise in all matters relating to maritime law for business. This role will be part of a mid-sized legal team reporting to the Head of Legal. This role is on a hybrid basis with three days in one of their UK offices, ideally London-based.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.

  • Ideally 4 PQE (guidelines only).

  • Experience working in a law firm or in-house, specialising in commercial maritime law or shipping.

  • You must be immediately available or on a short notice period.

What you'll get in return

  • You will be on a competitive daily rate of £500-£550.

  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
