Your new role
As a Coastal Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and developing costal projects that protect and enhance coastal environments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing projects that address coastal erosion, flooding, and habitat restoration. Key responsibilities will include the design and management of engineering projects, conducing site assessments and environmental impact studies, and assisting with the implementation of strategies to mitigate coastal erosion and flooding. You will collaborate with environmental agencies, prepare detailed reports, and ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

In return, you will receive a competitive daily rate (calculated based on experience and qualifications), paid to you on a weekly basis across the duration of your contract. Hybrid working options are available, and an initial extension to your contract term is highly likely.
