Interim Financial Accountant job in Exeter

Job Advert: Interim Financial Accountant
Location: Exeter
Type: Interim (Temporary)
Duration: Up to 6 months Working
Hours: Full-time (consideration for 4 days per week)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working available
Pay Rate: £250 - £350 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Parking: Available

About the Company:
Join a dynamic and growing tech company in Exeter! Hays are currently working alongside a Finance Director to source a interim Financial Accountant for a finance team which consists of six dedicated professionals, and we are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to support our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights
  • Support the audit process
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:
  • Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but we will consider candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
