Your new company

Our client is a fast-paced, high-performing biotech organisation in Oxfordshire who have employees based in both the UK and US. To support the HR team at a busy time, the need has arisen for an interim HR generalist to join the team for approx 25 hours a week to work in the afternoons/early evening each day to provide some vital cover during the UK/US cross over time period. 3 out of the 5 days will ideally be based in the Oxford office, although our client is open to providing some additional flexibility when required.

Your new role

You will support both UK and US employees and managers during your working hours and will ideally have good HR operational knowledge across both. This will include things such as:

• Performance management processes
• Employee relations activities
• Talent management and development
• Employee lifecycle
• Reward & comp
• Recruitment and onboarding new hires
• Maintaining and developing records and data

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for an experienced HR operations generalist who can work independently and can operate at manager level, being the point of escalation for complex queries and someone who the Head of HR could delegate tasks to. You will have experience of working with senior level stakeholders and will be able to provide professional and credible HR advice and guidance both in person and via phone/zoom/teams. Previous experience within a life sciences organisation would be hugely advantageous.
