Location: Plymouth (Hybrid Working Options Available)
Start Date: August 2024
Duration: Up to 9 Months (TBC)
Pay Rate: £200 - £260 per day

About the Role:
Hays are looking for a qualified finance professional to join our accountancy firm client in the Plymouth area as an Interim Practice Accountant. This full-time position offers hybrid working options and a competitive daily rate.

Our client are ideally looking for someone who has worked within a Practice environment within the last 5 years of their career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients
  • Manage client accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Conduct audits and provide audit support
  • Assist with tax planning and preparation
  • Provide financial advice and support to clients
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service

Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
