Your new company

As the Senior Category Manager for this organisation, you will specifically be responsible for the IT infrastructure and cloud spend areas. This will involve the full engagement with key stakeholders to devise a suitable category strategy, sourcing of new suppliers as well as ongoing management of existing suppliers. You will be leading comprehensive tender negotiations within this category, which could cover anything from mainframe, compute, database and infrastructure software. Whilst this role is only initially 4 months in length, there could well be further opportunities within the wider procurement team beyond this point.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have strong negotiation skills and the ability to save money as well as minimise risks for the business. You will be a strong communicator in order to effectively engage with your key customer base.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a competitive daily rate (Umbrella rate as the role is inside IR35) as well as hybrid work (3 days London, 2 days home). You will be paid weekly via your umbrella partner who will take care of all payroll and statutory costs.
