Your new company

I am recruiting for a communications executive to join a close-knit and dynamic team to deliver the internal communications strategy at an engineering & construction firm! This company is based in Central London & offers the opportunity to travel within the UK & hybrid working arrangements.

Your new role

As the Internal Communications Executive you will be reporting directly into both the Internal Communications Manager and the Group Head of Internal and Change Communications. The position is a 3 month temporary role with every opportunity to grow into a permanent role!


This company is looking for someone who is motivated to support the creation of compelling campaigns and content to communicate and embed the Employee Value Proposition and their Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion strategy. You will have the opportunity to design, manage and lead the internal communications strategy as well as work closely with their marketing and public affairs team to ensure internal and external communications are aligned.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will:

  • Work with a range of stakeholders across the firm as such experience working within a team, managing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels will be highly desirable

  • Have the opportunity to run employee calls and CEO calls, as such, you will need to be familiar with Teams and have experience organising Townhalls

  • Have experience producing targeted content for, Newsletters as well as social media, with an audience in mind and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have a meticulous eye for detail and be up for the challenge to fully embed an internal communications strategy.

  • Have experience working in a large matrix organisation, as well as experience using project management software, is an added bonus.
