Join a leading Tourism company as their Internal Communications Manager

Your new company

I am working with a global Tourism organisation to recruit a new Internal Communications Manager to join their small but mighty team! This company is renowned for delivering leading Travel/Tourism experiences and is looking for someone driven to lead the delivery of the Communications strategy. They have just under 500 employees globally & you will have oversight of the team and employees in Poland, Prague and Bratislava.

The company provides a flexible working environment and requires you to be in the London office at least 1 day per week working the core hours from 10 am to 4 pm.

Your new role

You will be reporting to the Head of Talent to drive the Internal Communications approach and lead 2 Communications Executives. To succeed, you will need experience writing communications materials and creating content as required. You will also be working closely with the senior stakeholders in the business including the CEO and advise on the Communications strategy.

This role involves driving internal communications for people-related initiatives, managing employee experience projects, and supporting with the organisation of group-wide events on an as needed basis. The team consists of two Internal Communications assistants as well as people partners who work closely with the businesses.

What you'll need to succeed

I am looking for someone driven to thrive within a lovely collegiate & collaborative team of 3. You must have experience managing a small team. Moreover, you will need to be an:

  • Excellent Communicator: Someone who can effectively communicate across various channels, present ideas clearly, and listen and influence at all levels.

  • Creative and Curious: A person who is innovative, enjoys storytelling, and can create engaging narratives within communication campaigns.

  • Experienced in Copywriting and Social Media: Proven experience in writing and editing, as well as working with social media platforms to deliver communication campaigns

  • Relationship Builder: Someone who is a confident communicator and has the ability to build strong relationships across functions and connect different sources of information.

  • Passionate About People: Someone who is enthusiastic about working in a people-focused environment and managing employee experiences, including social events. The team describes themselves as collegiate and tight-night.
