Hays has an exciting new opportunity to join a close-knit and dynamic team to deliver the internal communications strategy at an engineering firm! This company is committed to building a better future and is based in Central London.

Your new role

Feel a sense of pride within your role as the Internal Communications Manager! You will be reporting directly into the Group Head of Internal and Change Communications. The position is a 3 month temporary role with opportunity to grow into a permanent. This company is looking for someone who is motivated to create compelling campaigns and content to communicate and embed the Employee Value Proposition and their Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion strategy. You will have the opportunity to design, manage and lead the internal communications strategy as well as work closely with their marketing and public affairs team to ensure internal and external communications are aligned. As a result, you will steer the company towards having a more consistent and differentiated brand voice.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will work with a range of stakeholders across the firm as such experience working within a team, managing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels will be highly desirable. To thrive in this role, you will need be have experience producing targeted content with an audience in mind and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will need to have a meticulous eye for detail and be up for the challenge to fully embed an internal communications strategy. Experience working in a large matrix organisation, as well as experience using project management software, is an added bonus.
