Your new role
As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will:
As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will:
- Develop and implement IT compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+).
- Identify and assess compliance risks within the IT environment.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including audit results and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall compliance with IT policies and regulations.
- Assist the business with its submissions for tender and insurance responses.
- Stay updated on the latest compliance trends and best practices.
- Ensure third-party vendors comply with the organisation's IT policies.
- Work closely with the Security Team to ensure data protection and security measures are in place.
What you'll need to succeed
- A strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Awareness of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL Framework.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
- Experience with compliance management tools and software.
