This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a genuine market leader in the retail sector in the East Midlands. After a successful period, they are now looking to expand their IT further via an IT Manager vacancy.

Your new role

You will be responsible for maintaining, developing and optimising the IT network and infrastructure as well as being responsible for the line management for their IT team.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Provide effective support and maintenance of existing systems & infrastructure

Maintain the integrity of the IT Infrastructure & Network requirements, together with the input of third party contractors.

Facilitate site-specific installations of both replacement PCs and new store systems.

Mentor or provide guidance to junior members of the team

Produce annual risk assessments and work with business insurers and auditors to maintain the integrity of the IT Systems.

What you'll need to succeed

My client is looking for someone who has experience with the following: IT infrastructure and networking, Managing/Leading a small team, strong 2nd Line support experience, previous experience with Telecoms/ Security would be beneficial.

Retail commercial experience is desired but not essential.

What you'll get in return

A basic salary of up to £65k.
