Managing large and complex projects from inception to closure, you will leverage agile methods to deliver benefits in the most effective manner.
You will oversee the implementation of selected tools, systems, and infrastructure, ensuring they align with project goals. Collaboration with IT Operations teams will be essential to pilot changes impacting operational performance. You will manage the handover of responsibility for the IT solution to the operating ‘business as usual’ model.
Working closely with the Head of Cyber and Ops, you will define and prepare the target support model for new technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements. You will ensure that IT solution objectives are defined, delivered, and benefits monitored throughout the project’s lifetime.
Monitoring project performance, identifying, tracking, and managing risks and issues to resolution will be part of your daily responsibilities. Supporting the development of business readiness activities, you will also manage project budgets, including actuals, forecasting, and contingency, keeping projects within financially approved limits. Your role will be pivotal in supporting pre and post-mortems, risk and issue management workshops, scoping, and lessons learned on your projects.

This ensures that external partners meet their commitments and contribute effectively to the project’s success. Additionally, candidates should have a solid background in IT Operations system implementation and management, which is vital for overseeing the technical aspects of the projects.
A proven track record of delivering technical products and services is essential. This demonstrates the candidate’s ability to bring projects from concept to completion successfully.
