IT Support Desk Engineer - Dundee based - Hybrid - Circa £30,000

They offer a comprehensive range of services, including IT Strategy, Projects, Consultancy, IT Best Practices, and IT Support. With a loyal and diverse client base, they focus on understanding their clients’ businesses and aligning IT infrastructure to achieve their business goals.


About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Desk Engineer to join our team in Dundee. As part of the Support Team, you will deliver exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about skill development and eager to advance their career in IT. We provide dedicated training time, including Microsoft and security training.


Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with various PC & Laptop Hardware
  • Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Microsoft 365 usage and support
  • Familiarity with security tools (AV/EDR, spam filtering, web filtering)
  • Basic networking (DHCP/DNS, etc.)
  • Security awareness
  • Strong customer service skills and customer-facing experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • ITIL experience
  • Mac OS experience
  • Firewall/router experience
  • Experience working in an MSP environment (supporting multiple clients)
