We are partnered with a small Engineering firm based in Basildon who are currently recruiting an IT Systems Administrator to join their team!

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for:

• Supporting 80+ employees with the IT systems environment
• Assisting in the development of IT policies, standards, and resources
• Implementing system configurations
• Maintaining asset management and incident management systems
• Monitoring systems availability and performance
• Assisting users with application operations
• Supporting other IT team members with implementing solutions and projects

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft on-premises and cloud system administration
• Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Experience with Windows server configuration and fault-finding
• Involvement with change management
• Administration of information assets, including classification, routing, cleansing, and retention.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Windows Server Administration certification
• Microsoft Active Directory administration certification.
• Microsoft 365 administration certification
