About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support to our users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS check is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to internal and external users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Log and manage incidents and service requests using the service desk management system.
- Escalate complex issues to second-line support or relevant teams as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and resolutions.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Conduct regular system checks and maintenance tasks.
- Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including data protection and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with common software applications and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enhanced DBS check (required).
