IT Technician Required for Construction Company

Your new role

The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd line support to all users, ensuring the smooth operation of critical business systems across multiple sites. This role involves supporting Windows server-based applications and offering both on-site and remote I.T. support.

You will :
  • Provide technical support to all staff, face-to-face, over the phone or by e-mail to assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktop, laptop, and mobile systems.
  • Administer the helpdesk: record, update, and document incidents and requests.
  • Manage helpdesk work queues and report to management on helpdesk performance.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of I.T. equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the I.T. manager in the completion of I.T. related projects or schemes of work and Share and contribute to creating and updating a support knowledge base


What you'll need to succeed

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC/laptop hardware, commitment and understanding of the importance of cyber-security principles, understanding and commitment to the importance of implementing cyber-security controls and processes, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users, Capability to work independently and as part of a team and ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
