Junior Procurement Co-Ordinator

Your new role

  • Raise and process purchasing requisitions
  • Create purchase orders
  • Accept deliveries and process goods received notes
  • Supplier benchmarking and negotiations i.e. price, lead times and payment terms
  • Follow up overdue deliveries
  • Source parts and services
  • Conduct cost negotiations
  • Contribute to the management of inventory
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting
  • Participate in general office administration, including telephone answering.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, administrative position or procurement and sourcing is preferred and would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to manage a variable workload
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and propose improvement ideas
