Welcome to Hays Education

Here at Hays Education, we have built great relationships with all the primary schools in the Dover area. The cover requirements in the Dover area tend to be very high, whether that be on a day-to-day supply basis or on a long-term basis to cover sickness/maternity etc. We are consistently getting a high demand for all-year groups in Primary Schools. We can also ensure that we are offering consistent, paid work to our teachers! We have numerous existing relationships and partnerships with schools in the Kent region and the need to support our schools will once again be greater than ever.

Your new role

Hays are looking for Supply Teachers who are willing to work on a flexible basis; this opportunity would be perfect for anybody who wants to gain valuable experience in preparation for the next academic year or is looking to pick up an extra day of supply when they can. Are you looking for flexible work? Did you want to be in the classroom but also have a role that fits around your lifestyle? Are you looking to trying different sized schools and increasing your experience in different educational settings?

You can work as little or as often as you like, and working supply means that you can have a say in what schools you would like to go to.

We offer long-term, contract and permanent work as well as day-to-day work. Also, we can provide CV writing and interview tips to help you take that next step on the career ladder.

What you'll need to succeed

To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. To register as a teacher, you must meet the core criteria. A minimum of 2 months of teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements), you have the right to work in the UK, and you must have QTS. If you don't have QTS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.

We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.

What you'll get in return

As a Hays Supply Teacher, you will receive a generous rate of pay (dependent on experience). Other benefits include holiday pay and access to our exclusive FREE e-learning platform, where you can complete safeguarding and other courses to aid in your development for free!
