A leading FM provider are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for a corporate site in central London.
Your new company
My client are a leading, international FM provider with a significant footprint in the UK. They are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a prestigious account in central London. Their client are a large, multinational organisation.
Your new role
As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will oversee a team of engineers carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a large commercial site in central London. Key duties will include:
- Operating at Mechanical AP level
- Mechanical technical support to AP level
- Reactive and planned maintenance and repairs as well as PPM schedules
- Leading a team of engineers
- Liaising with client contacts and 3rd party vendors
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience and qualifications in mechanical engineering. This includes:
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering as a minimum
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical engineering maintenance in commercial properties in the UK
- Experience in leading and supervising engineers
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical AP duties and skillset to operate at that level
- Experience communicating with clients and contractors
