A leading global shipping and logistics business is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their high-performing and hard-working legal team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Provide commercially sound legal advice to the business, customers and suppliers.
• Assist in negotiating new contracts with customers and/or suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable law.
• Interpret and advise on contract disputes and offer effective strategies for dispute resolution.
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice to the business on a wide range of matters to reduce legal and/or commercial risk.
• Experience with commercial, customer, procurement and IT contracts
• Experience within the logistics sector
• England and Wales qualified solicitor, 3 PQE as a guideline
