Hays - Maintenance Electrician

Your new company
Our client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance electrician to join our team on a temporary basis.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of electrical works in both residential and commercial properties, including;
  • Performing general electrical work, including fixing issues with existing electrical works.
  • Installing new electrical works as required.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical works.
  • Responding to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for an electrician whose background is maintenance and is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience as a maintenance electrician in residential as well as commercial properties.
Main requirements:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance electrician
  • Relevant electrician qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS Card)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

What you'll get in return
