Maintenance Engineer

Your new company

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical skills for a local manufacturer based near Thetford, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights)

Your new role

As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for minimising operational downtime and maximising operational efficiencies through ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the plant and machinery. You will be able to swiftly respond to production breakdowns and deliver planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of highly automated machinery, such as conveyors, extruders, palletisers, vacuum packers, form sealers and wrapping machines. You will also carry out fault-finding on PLC systems, complete electrical installation and carry out project work.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in maintenance engineering, relevant electrical and mechanical qualifications (C&G, NVQ or similar) experience of PLC systems, experience of CMMS systems.
