It is a 12-month contract initially, but based on performance, a permanent position will be offered if successful.

Your new role

  • Operate processing and packaging equipment. Equipment includes filling machines, labellers, packing equipment
  • Weigh, measure and check raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain accurate materials and quantities.
  • Perform in-process sampling
  • Follow all safe practices and standard work and carry out daily safety checks.
  • Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and rooms in proper operating condition and proper cleanliness requirements.
  • Performing activities in a controlled environment with the use of LEV controls
  • May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
  • Working in a controlled manufacturing environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing qualifications desirable
  • General understanding of manufacturing and experience in the industry is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Experience working with a strong focus on quality of product is required.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and current software is desirable.
  • You must be able to work safely with materials and equipment.
