Great opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join a large educational college in NI.

Your new company

A large educational institution is looking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Officer to enhance their marketing efforts and support the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Your new role

As the Marketing Communications Co-ordinator, you will collaborate with managers and staff across the College to promote and achieve high-quality marketing provision. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the review, evaluation, and planning of marketing activities.
  • Ensuring consistent and efficient marketing services across the College.
  • Working with Corporate Challenge to target and assess marketing efforts.
  • Supporting the development of the Marketing Plan and College Development Plan.
  • Assisting in the development of marketing procedures and public relations activities.
  • Building strong relationships with PR agencies and media outlets.
  • Implementing and supporting an annual programme of events.
  • Providing event management support and ensuring effective communication about events.
  • Assisting in the production of marketing materials, including prospectuses and publicity materials.
  • Ensuring all publications adhere to corporate branding guidelines.
  • Coordinating advertising media and managing related budgets.
  • Supporting the development of the College's Corporate Identity and brand management strategies.
  • Collecting and analysing marketing data and developing e-databases for targeted marketing.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of the College website.
  • Delivering staff training in marketing and liaising with schools and higher education markets for promotion.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree or equivalent level qualification (essential).
  • A marketing-related professional qualification (desirable).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a marketing or communications-related role (essential).
  • Experience in creating and posting content on social media (essential).
  • Experience in creating online surveys and reporting on results (essential).
  • Experience in organising and delivering recruitment/marketing events (essential).
  • Experience in marketing or communications within Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) sectors (desirable).
