Supporting marketing team with design work across digital, print, motion graphics & 3D

Your new company

My client are a highly diverse electronics and technology brand. Providing both B2B and B2C products and services, they are globally recognised and can offer great on-site facilities balanced with home working. Their offices in Surrey offer great facilities and hybrid working options, and together we are seeking a Marketing Designer, initially for 12 months but with the potential to extend.

Your new role

The primary focus of the designer job will be creating Marketing assets for print, digital, and motion design - working on campaigns, PR materials, and product communications. You will partner with the Marketing Communications team to provide them with high quality assets – still images, digital and web designs, product materials and even POS. You will work within brand guidelines, use product photography to create ads, and support events and retail teams with in-store displays and pop-up designs. This is a broad ranging graphic role supporting a number of different Marketing channels with design work.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be able to produce high-quality artwork ready for production, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Both Digital and Print design experience is required, and the role may include elements of spatial or 3D design briefs and also motion and video work. Ideally you will have some commercial experience providing design work for Marketing assets, and demonstrate the ability to take clear briefs to produce design concepts. You’ll be confident and collaborative, able to work with people across the business.

Software Proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite (Key: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create and refine designs. The ability to utilise After Effects and Premiere Pro (or similar) would be a bonus. 3D software is a nice-to-have skill.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a daily rate up to the equivalent of a £45,000 annual salary - as the role is In-scope of IR35, this will equate to a PAYE (or Umbrella) rate of between £150 - £200 per day. You will be paid for 25 days' holiday annually plus bank holidays, get access to all on-site facilities, and have the option to work flexibly from home 2 days a week. This is initially a 12-month contract.
