Marketing Operations Manager (Automation) - FinTech - £50,000 - London

Hays have partnered with a leading fintech payment provider revolutionising the way businesses and consumers handle transactions. Their innovative solutions ensure seamless, secure, and efficient payment processes. They pride themselves on their customer-centric approach and cutting-edge technology. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dynamic Marketing Operations Manager to join the team and help support the marketing automation strategy.

Your new role

You will manage the development and implementation of the marketing automation strategy along with the Head of Marketing Operations. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing technologies, data analysis, and Tech Stack. You will report into the Head of Marketing Operations, and collaborate with various departments, and ensure the marketing efforts are optimised, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Support and manage the strategic implementation of all operational marketing channels which include but are not limited to:
  1. Website ownership and management - webflow CMS, design, and content
  2. SEO: optimising website SEO quality
  3. Content: develop pristine customised content
  4. Product Campaigns and assets
  5. Automation: Own all marketing automation and MarTech stack with the use of Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sales Force
  • Data Analysis and high-quality reporting on a ROI dashboard – reporting back to senior stakeholders within the business
  • Agency Management - website, freelance writers and co-managing a designer
  • Other marketing related ad-hoc activities


To be successful you must have:

  • Proven experience in a marketing automation role, preferably within the fintech or payment services industry.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
