Marketing Officer (Part-Time)

Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large Marketing & Communications team in a UK-wide Public Services organisation. Following three years' successful programme delivery of an ambitious accessibility project to the organisations' visitor locations across the country, you will now take on the responsibility for the development and delivery of the marketing plan, increasing awareness to attract new audiences and providing them with accurate and relevant information to plan their visits.

Your new role
You will develop and deliver an inclusive marketing strategy to promote the visitor locations for all to enjoy. You will work with colleagues across the national and local district marketing teams to integrate the messaging into wider communications plans and activity. You will review existing marketing and communication channels, and support local teams to coordinate and effectively market the accessible areas. You will develop effective marketing approaches and partnerships to reach new audiences. Working with communication, design and media teams, as well as relevant stakeholders to build the profile and to coordinate and support the programme requirements. You will also work with the programme team to build internal engagement with the programme. You will ensure all work is thoroughly researched, monitored and evaluated effectively to enable continual improvement and delivery of KPIs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies. You will have a track record of successfully developing and delivering marketing initiatives in a similar role, using a broad range of channels to reach diverse target audiences. You will have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with experience of working collaboratively across multiple departments. You will be a competent IT user with experience of MS Office, web and social platforms, and you will have experience of measuring campaigns to monitor and evaluate impact.

What you'll get in return
This is an 11-month position starting in early May and running until the end of March 2026.
£16.96 per hour + Holiday Allowance. 22.5 Hours per week, flexible working patterns and options are available. Predominantly home-working but with an occasional need to travel to Bristol.
