Position: Mechanical Supervisor (Temporary/Contract/Freelance)
Location: Nottinghamshire
Rate:
Umbrella: Up to £350 per day
PAYE: Up to £260 per day basic pay plus holiday

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our client’s team on a temporary, contract, or freelance basis. Our client, a leading M&E Contractor in the building services market, is looking for a professional who can oversee and manage mechanical installations and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Management: Oversee mechanical installation and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the overall project.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to the project manager and client.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the building services market.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
