Your new role

This Mixed Tax Senior opportunity will involve assisting the tax director and tax manager with their mixed tax client portfolios and will evolve into taking on your own portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
You will be responsible for:
Managing queries from HMRC, preparing, reviewing and submitting corporate and personal tax returns whilst gaining experience helping to supervise and mentor the more junior members of the team. There will also be the opportunity to gain experience in advisory work, including research for tax planning, e.g. R&D tax, transactions, capital allowance reviews and HMRC enquiries.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this Mixed Tax Senior job, you will be ATT or CTA qualified or be on your ATT-CTA study journey or be qualified by experience, along with the following experience: • At least 1 year's previous tax compliance experience
• Experience of preparing self-assessment tax returns for individuals and partnerships.
• Experience of preparing corporation tax computations and company tax returns
• Vat experience is desirable, although this can be developed within the role.
• A proactive attitude, with great organisation skills to work to agreed timescales
