The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students with a love for music, develop their musical skills, and contribute to the vibrant cultural life of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective music lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that covers various aspects of music, including theory, performance, and appreciation.
  • Encourage and inspire students to develop their musical talents and participate in school concerts, ensembles, and competitions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging goals.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular music activities and clubs.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment, ensuring all instruments and resources are used appropriately.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Music, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification and experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational trends and technologies.
