Hays are working on behalf of a prestigious organisation in Telford who are looking for a PA for their busy office. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy varied role. The organisation are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA who is able to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Your new role

As a PA your role will be extremely varied and duties will include:

        • Providing high-level executive support.
        • Manage diaries and schedule meetings.
        • Maintain accurate files on SharePoint.
        • Minute taking
        • Attend weekly Senior Management Team meetings and individual monthly SMT sessions, taking accurate notes and minutes.
          • Provide operational support in coordinating the biannual Trustees' Meetings, including preparation of agendas, reports and distribution of documents.
          • Manage all staff holiday and absence data, ensuring accurate records are maintained and shared with the finance team as needed.
          • Support with all HR-related tasks.
          • Update and maintain the Staff Handbook.
          • Organise and coordinate company events, including logistics and communication.
          • Liaise with external marketing professionals to prepare and distribute materials, e-marketing, etc.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have experience in the following:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • A hard-working and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, but with an equal ability to work reactively if required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to take detailed minutes and notes succinctly and accurately.
  • Experience in managing social media and coordinating PR activities.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and data management.
  • General high IT literacy with specific competency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
