Experienced Paralegal needed for a Global Law Firm.

Hays is excited to exclusively partner with an industry-leading Global Law Firm to recruit an experienced Paralegal to join their team and assist on an exciting project!

Your new role

In your new role, you will work alongside the London-based legal team as their point of contact with their client. You will be offering support, compiling documentation and coordinating communication to ensure that the best level of support and service is delivered.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing an individual caseload and handling multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Serving as the main contact for the client and the legal team.
  • Offering administrative support to the legal team.
  • Organising and managing physical and virtual meetings.
  • Preparing documentation and conducting research as needed.
  • Supporting the team in a general capacity to achieve day-to-day work efficiently.
  • Attend meetings with clients and relevant individuals.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Criteria:

  • Education: Legal degree qualification applied professionally since graduation.
  • Experience: At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in managing casework, and interpreting legislation, policy, and technical documents.
  • Communication: Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to work well as an individual and in a team.
  • Workload Management: Ability to work under pressure, handle a caseload, and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience and knowledge of working in a legal construction environment.
