Part Time Customer Services Administrator

Your new company

Hays are working with a large Manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking for a part time Customer Services Administrastor on a 9-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and vibrant business. Your role will be to handle any customer requirements from the quote up until order entry. Giving the customer first class service, offering assistance such as alternative products and promotional offers.

Your new role

As a Customer Services Administrator, your role will involve:

•Maximise all sales opportunities by promoting the highest standard of customer care.
•Receiving telephone, fax, e-mail and EDI orders.
•Prompt and positively deliverance of order acknowledgements with correct prices, part numbers and realistic delivery dates.
•Develop and implement new systems procedures or working practices to improve customer service efficiency.
•Maintain and develop customer records / profiles including recording information supplied by internal customers.
•Receiving and recording any relevant customer feedback including assessing how our competitors are meeting our customer’s needs.
•Assist with order inputting as and when required.
•Attentive, prompt and courteous handling of all customer enquires.
•Internal reports.
•Customer education on current prices and part numbers.
•Confirming stock availability when required.
•Internal support for Field Sales team.
•Promoting and actively seeking further opportunity ‘s.
•Telesales – existing customers only (no cold calling)
•Raising and submitting Pro-forma’s.
•Recording weekly KPI’s.
•Customer Quotations.
•Price amendment forms.
•Scanning
•Individual customer reports.
•Raising sample orders upon request.
•Occasional collation and prepare analysis of credits.
•Dealing with general public enquires to promote our brand and products.
•Provide departmental absence cover.
•Carry out any reasonable task requested by management.

What you'll need to succeed

•Previous experience in a high volume Customer Service role, preferably within FMCG.
•Ability to work with computerised Stock Control system.
•Good level of education.
•Flexible approach to work.
•Previous use of EDI order receipts system.
