To be successful, y ou will have previous proven experience using a payroll system and ideally, have worked in an accountancy practice environment. A qualification in Payroll Practice or equivalent would be desirable.

Your new role
The role of the Payroll Assistant is to assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of payroll clients. These clients range from SME to large national businesses across multiple sectors, including construction, manufacturing and retail. You will work to regular deadlines and keep up to date with payroll legislation changes as well as any other changes affecting payroll processing. You will also have additional bookkeeping responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
