Payroll Administrator role in Kent
Your new company
A high-growth manufacturing company is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Gillingham. Established over 30 years ago, the organisation works globally and are touted as being one of the best within the manufacturing field. Due to a person leaving their current team, there is a vacancy for someone in their payroll team. They offer a generous package of up to £30,000 and opportunities to work part-time if need be.
Your new role
• End to end payroll processing of company payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations of all payments and deductions.
• Checking and processing timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Processing the company pension schemes according to auto enrolment legislation and ensuring accurate submissions within the deadlines.
• Processing payroll year-end reporting according to relevant legislation and within deadlines as set by internal and external (e.g. HMRC) requirements.
• Preparing and issuing all relevant periodic or occasional payroll documentation such as P60’s and P11D’s according to HMRC or other deadlines
What you'll need to succeed
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel for payroll calculations and reporting.
- Previous experience of running end to end payroll
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to interact with staff and members effectively
- Does not have to have experience with Sage Payroll, but it would be advantageous.
