Position : Photography Teacher

Location : Bristol

Contract : Full Time, Permanent

Start Date : September 2024

The Role :

We are seeking a passionate and creative Photography Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children from KS3-KS5 and a strong background in various photography, art and media forms. As an Photography Teacher, you will inspire and educate students in photography, fostering their creativity and media skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement art lessons that align with the curriculum
• Teach students various art techniques and styles. Teach Photography to GCSE.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Organise and supervise both art and photography projects and activities
• Conduct assessments to track student progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a relevant field.
• Relevant Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS)
• Experience in teaching
• Familiarity with GCSE, BTEC Curriculums.
• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and lifelong learning.
• Excellent knowledge of Teacher Standards and innovative teaching practices.
• Proficiency in using IT and media suites.
