About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our Tier 1 client for an experienced Freelance Planner to join their team for upcoming civil projects in the water sector. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in water or utilities projects, who can bring their expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for civil projects in the water sector.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare regular progress reports and present them to the client and internal teams.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a planner on water or utilities projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, APM) are a plus.
