Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at Primary Schools in Bristol. These roles are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools around the area. The primary schools we work with are some of the best in the local Bristol area and we are looking for primary school teachers that will be able to build lasting relationships with these schools. Many of our supply teachers have gone on to secure long term and even permanent placements following them working through Hays so this is a great way to build relationships with schools in your area. With Hays, you can work when you want by updating your availability online and securing day to day bookings without needing to call your consultant back to accept work – although you can if you want!
Your new role
This role can be on a full or part-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class for the day; the role is open to ECT’s. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. Whilst the roles are day-to-day supply, many of our school’s often have multiple supply opportunities every week and there will be opportunities for longer-term supply as well as some permanent roles if successful in a placement. If you like the challenge of working in multiple primary schools in the local area with a different school each day then this is the role for you!
What you'll need to succeed
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
- Experience teaching in a Primary School.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
