Your new role
They are seeking an ambitious, experienced, and motivated Principal Arboricultural Consultant to lead and expand their arboricultural consultancy services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of project types, from planning and development to environmental conservation.

You will take a lead role in delivering high-quality consultancy services. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and shape an arboricultural team within a larger, multi-disciplinary consultancy. This role allows for close collaboration with our team of ecologists and GIS specialists, ensuring you are fully supported as you develop and deliver projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the arboricultural consultancy service and develop a team of arboricultural consultants.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high standards of technical delivery.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on arboricultural matters, from planning to project delivery.
  • Work closely with ecologists and GIS specialists to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior consultants as the team grows.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in arboricultural consultancy.
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects independently.
  • Strong understanding of arboricultural best practices, legislation, and relevant standards.
  • Experience in team leadership or a desire to take on a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
