Process Improvement Engineer required for manufacturing business in Edinburgh

The role:

Our client is an Engineering Company based in Edinburgh looking for a lean/process engineer to assist with the existing team in their Edinburgh branch, reporting directly to the business improvement lead for the site.

They are looking for someone to help with the business improvement programme which is being designed for the Edinburgh business, so that defined improvement and smart processes are identified and properly implemented within the business.

These changes will have clearly defined processes using systems to run the business in a more effective manner, so the business results in improvements being implemented into the Factory using new digitalised methods.
Summary of their Business Improvement Lead’s Job Spec / Objectives:
- Participation and implementation of change management tools
- Create Renewals Process in Therefore
- Therefore, Purchase Process – Requisitions integration
- Therefore Suggestions Scheme - Develop
- Create PowerBI Reports for all Therefore Processes
- AP Invoicing
- Purchasing
- Maintenance Sales Orders
- Renewals
- Monthly CIP reports
- Design Workflow Process Improvements,
- Incorporating Corporate Purchasing procedures into internal procurement processes,
- Implementing the Production Plan Tool into Business,
- Driving iScala connectivity and logistics & warehousing improvements.

Role Package & Benefits
» Core Hours: between 35.5per week: HYBRID WORKING IS OFFERED
» 0800 – 1600 Monday,
» 0800 – 1630 Tuesday – Thursday,
» 0800 – 1200 Friday,
