Your new company
You will be working in a well-known and respected management consultancy, with multiple offices up and down the UK and across the globe. You will be sat in the EMEA Sourcing team, supporting the Talent/HR category.
Your new role
As a Category Manager within the HR category, you'll be working with your procurement team and the Senior HR Procurement Manager, covering all aspects of the procurement cycle. In accordance to the firm's procurement methodology, you will be supporting global internal clients on sourcing projects locally and regionally. You will also be executing contracts, supporting on supplier implementation practices and making an impact by developing the global procurement function.

Your new role
As a Category Manager within the HR category, you'll be working with your procurement team and the Senior HR Procurement Manager, covering all aspects of the procurement cycle. In accordance to the firm's procurement methodology, you will be supporting global internal clients on sourcing projects locally and regionally. You will also be executing contracts, supporting on supplier implementation practices and making an impact by developing the global procurement function.
- Supporting on procurement activities
- Onboarding suppliers
- Conducting compliance, governance & due diligence
- Supporting the HR Procurement lead on category strategies and procedures
- Development of organisational wide strategies
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, understanding business needs and commercial budgets
What you'll need to succeed
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, displaying strong collaboration and negotiation skills. Attention to detail is a must as you’ll be creating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercises, as well as undergoing presentations of your findings through strong data and analytic executions.
You will also need to have a good understanding of legal agreements / contract templates. Meeting your deadlines by staying self-motivated with a high drive for results and efficiency are essential to succeeding.

Experience working within a procurement environment as a procurement specialist or category manager
Ideal but not essential – experience in working in the HR Category
Previous employment within a matrix, and/or global firm
CIPS or procurement education
Ability to showcase previous experience of negotiating, tendering and management of internal and external stakeholders.
