You will be working for a non-for-profit organisation. They actively engage with the community through various initiatives, promoting sustainability and enhancing the overall quality of life for everyone involved.
Your new role
- In collaboration with stakeholders, deliver of strategic tenders for supply/services and works with a value over £150,000 or of high organisational risk.
- Carry out procurement activity in accordance with category strategies.
- In collaboration with the Procurement colleagues and stakeholders, carry out negotiation of contract terms where applicable and allowed under the regulations.
- Will need to demonstrate working knowledge of category areas such as FM, Professional services, IT & Construction.
- Manage the contract life cycles from award/mobilisation to exit strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of managing complete procurement processes under Public Contract Regulations 2015 / PA23.
- Experience of using and/or setting up procurement frameworks and/or Dynamic Purchasing Systems.
- Must be able to commute to the Plymouth office 2 days per week.
- Must be able to run end-to-end tenders.
- Experience of working with cross-functional / departmental teams on procurement projects.
- Ideally hold CIPS accredited qualifications.
