Your new role
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting procurement activity and providing stakeholders across the organisation with specialist guidance and advice on the best routes to market, and those which deliver optimal value for money, often through the use of Government-approved frameworks. You will negotiate pricing and contractual terms with suppliers, and you will build and maintain business-critical supplier relationships. This may entail resolving any invoicing queries, supply chain issues, and managing spend to assess year-on-year savings. The Procurement Officer will ensure that contracts adhere to the relevant procurement regulations and policies.

What you'll need to succeed
- Some experience in a procurement role, such as a Procurement Officer, Procurement Assistant or similar
- Ideally, you will be working towards CIPS qualification
- Good IT skills and able to pick up new systems
- Strong communication skills
What you'll get in return
- An initial temporary contract which is anticipated to last 6 months
- £16.79 per hour via PAYE (inc. holiday pay)
