Your new role

As a Production Planner, you will primarily support operations in all planning activities in line with demand and supply chain. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work closely with relevant functions to plan and schedule work according to sales demand, ensuring continuity and efficiency of production. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe working environment, providing strong production planning support, optimising production capacity and material availability, and liaising with all departments within the supply function. You will ensure that all work is scheduled on the ERP system efficiently and timely, identify and implement process improvements, and provide cover for equipment planning as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of relevant experience in a production planning environment, knowledge of fundamental scheduling principles and practices, and an understanding of basic production, operational, and supply chain principles. Proficiency in MS Office, strong planning and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach are essential. Previous experience with MRP systems is preferred, and the ability to work flexibly to meet demanding deadlines is crucial.
